Women’s Tennis: Women Cruise Past Baker in Spring Opener, 7-0‏

The UMKC women’s tennis team got the season kicked off with a win on Friday afternoon at the KC Raquet Club, 7-0 over Baker University.

UMKC (1-0) made quick work of the Wildcats (0-1), winning all three doubles matches in less than 30 minutes, not allowing the guests to tally more than two games.

In singles play, UMKC did the same, winning all six matches in straight sets, without conceding more than two games in any set.

UMKC will face William Jewell on Saturday at 2 pm at the KC Raquet Club.
