MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan says he is awaiting test results to determine the severity of the right foot injury to point guard Traevon Jackson.

Jackson was hurt in the second half of the fourth-ranked Badgers’ 67-62 loss Sunday night at Rutgers. Ryan calls the injury “pretty severe.” He is unsure how long he might without his trusted senior guard.

Ryan also didn’t have an update Monday on preseason All-American big man Frank Kaminsky, who sat out the Rutgers loss with a concussion.

Kaminsky leads the Badgers at 16.9 points and 8.2 rebounds a game, while Jackson averages 9.4 points and 2.9 assists. Ryan turns to Jackson to take big shots late in close games.
